The castle of Vincigliata, was completely renovated in the 19th century by Sir John Temple Leader. In fact, almost a century after its construction, it had fallen into disrepair, and was almost a ruin.
The castle, a beautiful and well-preserved medieval mansion, is located not far from Fiesole in the Tuscan countryside. We arrive in the morning on a sunny day. To welcome us is
the manager, who, with exquisite courtesy, immediately gives us a tour of the large property.
Completely surrounded by solid walls, the castle encloses the watchtower, beautiful cloister, courtyard and a long loggia.
To celebrate a very romantic wedding there are also innumerable historic, romantic and elegant villages, from Artimino to Castagneto Carducci, from San Gimignano to Pietrasanta, from Lucignano (whose civic museum preserves the Tree of Love) to San Miniato, from Fiesole in San Galgano, and from Certaldo to Pienza.

Have you always dreamt of a beach wedding? Well, you couldn’t do better than choose the Tuscan Maremma to fulfil your desire. The best locations are located around Follonica, Punta Ala and Porto Ercole , the whole stretch offering an unforgettable beach wedding, framed by the sea and Tuscan skies.
Some municipalities on the Tuscan coast (for example Castiglione della Pescaia, Pietrasanta and Viareggio) offer this possibility and more and more are the bathing clubs make space for happy couples who want to celebrate the ritual on the beach, flowed by a wedding breakfast eaten while watching the waves crashing on the shore or on the rocks.
